Alice, after sitting for far too long, groaned aloud at the lack of life in the party.

Gellert Grindelwald wrote:He smirked slightly. She was trying to win in this game, but he knew he was the master of it. He had a way with words, and although it sometimes made him sound cocky, the only reason that he could talk like this, and get away with it, was because he really was intelligent. "Because one of the prime concerns of teenage boys is impressing teenage girls. And somehow, we get this twisted conception that if we go against our instincts and do the cliched 'bad boy' act then then other people'll be impressed." He shrugs, and then adds, "and then, it's usually harder to do the right thing, isn't it?"

"You speak like being the 'bad boy' is what gets you into trouble. It's usually when you switch from bad boy into something that cares when the problems start." She resisted sneering at him, realizing that would be taking out frustration on someone who had done nothing to her.

No, usually I hide in the library or dormitory. I'm a little socially backward and tend to hate large groups of people, like this one. But still, I have to make friends somehow *attempts a smile*

*smiles* I know what you mean! I sometimes feel really awkward around large groups of people. But you should come down to the lake sometime!! It's really fun. After we've finished our homework, of course.

Kingsley sits back down at the table with his drink and watches everyone. Not much was going on yet but at least he'd met someone new.

[ANNIE, I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO IGNORE YOU! D:]

Annie Stasia wrote:Annie saw someone walk in. She got up and went over to talk. "Hi, I'm Annie."

Alice looked up at the girl and smiled, relieved that the night might not be a total waste. "Alice!" she said, sticking out her hand to shake.

Cormac notices Penny waving at him. He waves back unenthusiastically.[sp?] He also notices a girl from his common room waving at him, again, he waves unenthusiastically. Cormac looks around for some place and goes to sit on a couch.

Oh--really well. He's such a cutie. -Peter stares off over Tam's shoulder for a moment, and then looks back at her- So what have you been up to, besides getting in fights with Hashbee and, whoever, y'know, did that to you?

Dean walks in wearing his sexy tux. He decided it was best not to ask Danni or Dom, because he would have felt horrible choosing either. He comes in and goes and sits on the opposite side from the drinks. He waits to see if there is someone he can hang with.

Professor McGonagall walked into the gala ball with her hair down and curly and makeup to match her dress. She may appear stern, but she enjoyed letting go sometimes, which was why she agreed to chaperone.

Alice grinned brightly. "So, you liking the dance, or what?" she turns to see a boy sit down at a table near her and waved, not thinking she had met him before. "Hi!" she said to Dean. "I'm Alice,"

I may have shouted at a Slytherin in the LIbrary a few weeks back, lost my temper, then drew that guy Malfoy into it. I sort of got angry at her for talking in the library, then she said something about how I was a typical Ravenclaw, and it down spiralled from there. Yea I probably called her a typical Slytherin...*grimace*

[sorry this is late]

Ugh! Malfoy! I've heard rumors... Luna hates him, though. Well, what's bad with being a typical Ravenclaw? That's the reason we're put there, after all... Meh. Typical Slytherin means that they're cunning, and... *thinks* that's about it. haha.
